Job summary

Carlsbad Early College High School seeks an on-site educator to implement district curriculum and foster student success in academics and interpersonal skills. You will document progress and outcomes, address individual learning needs, and maintain a safe, supportive classroom environment.

You will also provide timely feedback to students, parents, and administration on progress, expectations, and goals, while collaborating with the principal and school team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid New Mexico teaching license with endorsements as needed.
• Alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Board may find appropriate.
• Pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills by implementing district-approved curriculum.
• Document teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes.
• Address educational needs of individual students and create a flexible, safe learning environment.
• Provide feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations and goals.
