Qualifications

• Earned Ph.D. in History from an accredited university; ABD candidates with anticipated confer date before May 2028 may be considered.
• Preferred specialization in U.S. History; related fields considered.
• Demonstrated teaching competency.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with students, colleagues, and administrators in a university setting.
• Commitment to integrating faith and humanities within a Christian Polytechnic University mission.

Responsibilities

• Teach a full-time load of History courses, including preparation of materials and assessments.
• Offer introductory courses and build foundational historical knowledge and essential communication and analytical skills.
• Develop upper-level courses aligning with students' interests and program needs.
• Provide strategic leadership to infuse humanities across the technology-focused curriculum.
• Participate in committees, student advising, and retention initiatives; pursue scholarly work.
