Georgia Gwinnett College is now accepting applications for part‑time faculty positions in History in the School of Liberal Arts for the academic year (2026-2027). The posting will remain active for AY26-27 hiring (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Part‑time faculty positions are semester‑based positions and report directly to the Department Chair. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face‑to‑face, online, hybrid and/or blended formats. These positions are on an as‑needed basis and require additional time outside of class to provide written feedback to students and to meet individually with students throughout the semester. Part‑time faculty may teach in the fall, spring, and/or summer semesters. Classes at Georgia Gwinnett College are offered morning, afternoon and evening including weekends.
A minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
