Job summary

Alpheva is seeking a senior historian to support AI evaluation projects focused on historical sources, chronology, context, and interpretation. You will review model outputs and worked examples for attribution and source context.

You will write reference answers and scoring criteria grounded in historical sources and evidence, explain errors and evidence gaps, and justify corrections with traceable reasoning.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of substantive experience in historical research or public history.
• Senior-level judgment in historical sources, chronology, context, and interpretation.
• Experience reviewing or delivering this work with substantial responsibility.

Requirements

Pay

$90–$120/hr
