Texas Historical Commission’s Starr Family Home State Historic Site seeks a qualified professional to design and deliver engaging interpretive programs and community outreach. Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in education, history, museum studies, or related field.
  • Minimum one-year work experience in at least two of the following areas: public interpretive programs, research, or publications.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement interpretive programs at the Starr Family Home site.
  • Develop and deliver new interpretive programs and outreach events.
  • Research site collections and produce related content for publications and exhibits.
  • Collaborate with educators, volunteers, and local partners to expand programming.
