Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Previous construction management experience.
• Historic preservation knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel software.
• Comfortable with heights.

Responsibilities

• Interact with construction staff, contractors and vendors.
• Assist in oversight of multiple construction projects.
• Assist in reporting, deadlines, scope, and budgets.
• Source and coordinate materials and equipment.
• Maintain daily logs of job sites.
• Read blueprints and plan documents.
• Assist supervision of carpenters and masons.
• Assist sourcing sub-contractors and assign sub work.
• Prioritize operations to meet deadlines.
• Create purchase orders per subcontractor bids and company policy.
• Prepare material takeoffs and quantities.
