Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Interact with construction staff, contractors and equipment vendors.
  • Assist in the oversight of multiple construction projects.
  • Assist in reporting and following deadlines, scope of work and budgets.
  • Source and coordinate materials and equipment according to project timeline.
  • Maintain daily logs of assigned job sites.
  • Ability to read blueprints and other plan documents.
  • Assist in the supervision of construction staff such as carpenters, masons and pointers.
  • Assist in sourcing sub-contractors and assign sub work accordingly.
  • Prioritize operations and make changes in operations to meet deadlines.
  • At the direction of the Project Manager, create purchase orders consistent with the terms and conditions contained in the subcontractor bids, contract documents, according to Company policy.
  • Have the ability to make detailed list of the exact quantities of materials required for the project. Comfortable with takeoffs.
  • Experience with the change order process.
