Job summary

SCA is seeking a Preservationist Technician to support historic resources at Devils Tower, WY. Work ranges from custodial tasks to major restorations under NPS supervision, with training to learn specialized preservation skills.

The role includes water quality testing, basic repairs, and opportunities to pursue WY certifications. Housing on site is provided, and compensation includes travel and living allowances.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• The ability to work independently.
• Preferred: experience with masonry, carpentry and woodworking.

Responsibilities

• Assist NPS staff with custodial duties and address facility issues.
• Reconstruct, restore or rehabilitate wood structures and related carpentry tasks.
• Repair and stabilize masonry structures, foundations, walls and chimneys.
• Assist with daily water quality tests and inspections; opportunity for WY certifications.
