Job summary

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• English language proficiency required.
• HTL certification by ASCP or board eligibility pathway described.

• Temporary appointments may not be extended beyond two years without meeting basic requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform sectioning of surgical pathology/autopsy specimens.
• Process and embed tissue; ensure proper orientation for embedding.
• Prepare tissues for staining and microscopic examination.
• Perform immunohistochemical stains and special stains as needed.
• Maintain QA files and follow safety guidelines including PPE.
