Responsibilities

• Performs STAT and routine histological procedures (preparation, processing, and/or staining of patient tissues) prior to microscopic study.
• Interacts with physicians, nurses, and other allied health individuals to understand test availability for the department.
• Helps to problem-solve cases for Pathologists and other staff as needed.
