Job summary

The Broward Health system in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a skilled Histology Technologist to prepare and process tissue specimens, perform microtomy and histochemistry stains, and assist with IHC procedures. This full-time role supports pathologists by providing accurate data and high-quality slides for microscopic evaluation.

Experience with IHC is highly preferred; an Associate degree or Florida Histology Technologist licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in Histology.
• Current Florida License for Histology Technologist.
• Experience with immunohistochemistry (IHC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process tissue specimens for evaluation.
• Perform microtomy slide preparation and sectioning.
• Apply histochemical stains and IHC as needed.
• Support pathologists with data and quality standards.
