Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Histology Technologist II for the Toledo North Laboratories to perform routine and complex histology and to support the Pathologist in delivering accurate diagnoses. This full-time role involves handling a high-volume anatomic pathology workflow and ensuring quality assurance standards are met.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate or Bachelor degree in Histotechnology, and ASCP HT/HTL eligibility. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a two-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Science or Applied Science (or equivalent) and/or Bachelor’s Degree - histotechnology.
• Eligible to sit for the ASCP HT/HLT certification test.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex histologic techniques on tissue samples for microscopic examination.
• Support the Pathologist in providing accurate diagnoses.
• Create and monitor quality assurance programs in the lab and educate staff.
• Work in a high-volume anatomic pathology lab.
