Job summary

Mayo Clinic's Anatomic Pathology Laboratories are seeking Histology Technicians and Histotechnologists (HT/HTL) to join a dynamic team. Opportunities span histology, frozen section, IHC, and renal pathology across subspecialties.

You will embed, microtome, cryosection, stain, and perform IHC and special stains, contributing to accurate diagnoses while training others and collaborating with pathologists and clinicians. This role is linked to Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences HT/HTL program.

Qualifications

• Experience with histology procedures is expected.
• Attention to detail and adaptability are essential.
• Collaborative work with pathologists and clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Embedding tissues and preparing slides for pathologist review.
• Microtomy and cryotomy to create high-quality sections.
• Perform immunohistochemical staining and special stains.
• Handle fresh and complex specimens with care and accuracy.
• Assist in training students and new staff across subspecialties.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely results.
• Ineligible for visa sponsorship; compliance with Mayo Clinic policies.
