The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in histology and immunohistochemistry and must obtain HT(ASCP) certification within 18 months of hire. Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in histology and immunohistochemistry.
• HT(ASCP) or equivalent certification required within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine histology procedures including receipt, grossing, processing, embedding, cutting, and preparation of routine and special stains.
• Performs Immunohistochemistry and other special procedures as requested by the Pathologist.
• Responsible for accurate filing of slide/blocks and equipment maintenance and operation.
• Responsible for excellent customer service.
