Medical City Dallas is seeking a Histology Technician Lead to perform routine histology, embedding, sectioning, and special stains, under Pathologist direction.

You will manage immunohistochemistry, equipment maintenance, and ensure excellent filing and customer service while coordinating with the Pathology team. A minimum of three years in histology is required, with HT(ASCP) certification pursued within 18 months of hire.

Competenze

• HT(ASCP) or equivalent certification required within 18 months of hire, transfer or promotion.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in histology and immunohistochemistry

Mansioni

• Performs routine histology procedures including receipt, grossing, processing, embedding, cutting, and preparation of routine and special stains.
• Performs Immunohistochemistry and other special procedures as requested by the Pathologist
• Responsible for accurate filing of slide/blocks and equipment maintenance and operation.
• Responsible for excellent customer service
