Responsibilities

  • Prepares histology sections by processing tissue and embedding, cutting, and staining prepared sections.
  • Performs immunohistochemical techniques and stains and cutting of frozen tissue.
  • Prepares and changes solutions and reagents.
  • Maintains general maintenance of laboratory equipment and cleanliness of work areas.
  • Keeps supply and chemical inventories and performs record keeping and clerical support.
  • Assists supervisor with other duties and special projects as needed.

Job description
