Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Currently eligible for ASCP HT or HTL certification, or a minimum of three years histology experience.
• If certification eligible, provide letter from ASCP proving eligibility to sit for certification exam.
• Students enrolled in an accredited Histology Technician program may be considered with documented competence; degree must be obtained within nine months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine histological procedures including embedding, microtomy, and staining for microscopic examination.
• Conduct quality checks and support IHC, special stains, and digital pathology initiatives.
• Collaborate with pathologists and lab staff across routine and complex cases.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
