Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking an experienced histotechnician for an 8‑month contract to support routine histology and IHC operations in its skincare R&D and Clinical Development lab. The role involves processing, sectioning FFPE tissues, performing stains, imaging, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

Requires histology lab experience with FFPE processing and sectioning.
Proficient in H&E and special stains.
Experience with IHC and antigen retrieval is preferred.
Strong documentation and SOP adherence.

Responsibilities

Process FFPE tissue specimens, including trimming, embedding, and block preparation.
Section FFPE tissue blocks with a microtome to produce slides.
Perform routine histology stains and special stains per SOPs.
Conduct manual and automated IHC staining, including antigen retrieval.
Operate and maintain histology lab equipment and record-keeping.
Support imaging/scanning and organize digital image files.
