Brookhaven Gastroenterology Associates in Westhampton Beach is seeking a talented Histology Technician for a full-time role in our growing pathology lab. You will perform embedding, cutting, and assist with grossing, processing, and staining as needed.

A fast learner with strong attention to detail will thrive in our family-like environment. Ideal candidates hold ASCP HT/HTL certification and an Associate degree with 60 science credits, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree.

Brookhaven Gastroenterology Associates is seeking a talented histology technician for our growing pathology lab located in Westhampton Beach. This is a full time, permanent, day position perfect for a highly motivated histology professional. Family-like atmosphere and great compensation. The ideal candidate has experience working in a variety of histology lab settings and is familiar with manual and automated histology techniques. Must be a quick learner, flexible, a confident microtomist, have excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills. In addition, the ideal candidate must be able to work independently. Major responsibilities include embedding, cutting, assisting with grossing/processing/staining as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with at least 60 science credits
• 5 + Years experience as a Histology Technician
• Associates Degree, Bachelors Degree Preferred
• ASCP Certification - HT or HTL

Hours

F/T, P/T, Per Diem Monday-Friday

Salary
