Education must include a high school diploma or GED; recent graduates from accredited histology programs are encouraged to apply, or candidates with one year of surgical pathology lab experience.

Qualificações

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Recent graduate from an accredited histology program or 1 year of technical experience in a surgical pathology laboratory required.
• HT - Histotechnologist certification (ASCP) required or eligible; Georgia regulations apply.

Responsabilidades

• Cut, stain and prepare tissue samples for the pathologist to review.
• Prioritize testing procedures and complete them accurately and timely.
• Maintain proper records of all tests in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations.
