Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Histology Technician/Histotechnologist for PRN coverage in Columbus, Georgia. You will prepare tissue samples for pathologist review, ensuring accurate, timely processing and meticulous record-keeping in a busy surgical pathology lab.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a recent histology program graduate or 1 year of technical experience; 3 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Recent graduate from an accredited histology program or 1 year of technical experience in surgical pathology required.
• 3 years experience in a surgical pathology laboratory preferred.

Responsabilités

• Cut, stain and prepare tissue samples for the pathologist to review.
• Prioritize testing procedures and complete them accurately and timely.
• Maintain proper and accurate records of all tests in accordance with established policies and regulations.
