Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science.
• Graduate of an accredited Pathologists' Assistant Training Program.
• Three years of Surgical Pathology experience with non-waived testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform gross description and dissection of surgical specimens.
• Assist with preparation for cytologic studies.
• Enter accession cases into laboratory information systems.
• Assume responsibility for quality control issues.
• Maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
