Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of histopathology or other laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare slides for microscopic evaluation by pathologists, under supervision.
• Receive and label tissue specimens for processing.
• Maintain and clean laboratory equipment.
• Perform cover slipping of stained slides (manual or automated).
• Conduct routine H&E staining (manual or automated).
• Prepare reagents for tissue processing and staining under supervision.
• Process accessioning and reporting paperwork.
• Handle clerical duties and monitor pending lists.
