Pascack Valley Medical Center is seeking a Day Shift, full-time Histology Supervisor in Westwood, NJ. The role leads the histology department with oversight of staff responsible for specimen preparation and testing within the pathology/histology lab.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Histotechnology or related field, ASCP certification, and a track record in high complexity testing. Leadership and customer service skills are essential for maintaining quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Histotechnology, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related chemical/biological field.
• Associate’s degree with >2 years of high complexity clinical lab experience.
• ASCP or equivalent certification required; maintain certification without lapse.
• Preference for Histotechnologist certification and leadership experience.
• Experience as a Histology Technologist with current knowledge of pathology lab techniques.
