Job summary

UVA Health is seeking an MLS/CLS professional to manage and operate laboratory facilities supporting research, teaching, and patient care. The role requires completion of a NAACLS-approved MLS/CLS program and relevant science background, with ASCP licensure or equivalent.

Expect adherence to safety protocols and active participation in quality control. Pay ranges from $43.25 to $53.23 per hour, with compensation determined by qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with completion of a NAACLS approved MLS/CLS program.
• Bachelor’s in Biology/Chemistry or related science.
• MT or categorical, ASCP or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate laboratory facilities used for research, teaching, or to assist in diagnosis, treatment, and/or prevention of disease.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and safety compliance; support quality control and safety programs.
