Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year histopathology or related lab experience required.
• PHI handling experience with LIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare slides for microscopic evaluation under supervision.
• Label and prepare tissue specimens for dissection.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work area.
• Perform cover slipping and H&E staining (manual or automated).
• Prepare reagents and process tissue for staining under supervision.
• Handle accessioning and reporting paperwork.
• Maintain department statistics and inventory as applicable.
• Comply with safety policies and PPE usage.
