Qualifications:Histologic Technician:High school diploma or post-secondary education required.Histologic Technician (HT) American Society Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) certification within 12 months of hire.Two years of experience if not certified. Must be eligible to take the exam to be ASCP certified within 12 months of hire.
Histologic Technologist: Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, chemical, physical, or biological science required. Histologic Technologist (HTL) American Society Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) certification within 12 months of hire. Two years of experience preferred.
