Role Overview

We seek a skilled Python Developer to maintain and develop automation services, focusing on a cloud-based, event-driven system leveraging AWS services.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys backend challenges, and can work independently within an established architecture.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance legacy Python code for scraping, data processing, and automation.
• Collaborate on new feature development with the lead engineer.
• Build and deploy event-driven services using AWS Lambda and DynamoDB.
• Write infrastructure as code using AWS CDK.
• Develop automated reporting and invoicing systems.
• Conduct testing to ensure reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot issues and improve system resilience.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of Python experience in production.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, CloudWatch.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and cloud-native design.
• Building scraping bots or automation tools.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code, preferably AWS CDK.
• Strong testing and debugging skills for cloud systems.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with data pipelines or real-time analytics.
• Familiarity with reporting, invoicing, or client-facing systems.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work autonomously.
