About Us

We seek a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for invalids and injured people in a professional and considerate manner. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor. LPN professionals must be qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will have experience providing basic care to those in need while remaining patient and calm. This demanding but rewarding job requires specific experience working with elderly patients, good physical stamina, a caring personality, and excellent communication skills.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Direct and delegate daily tasks of nursing assistants; administer medications and treatments as prescribed; assist with DME setup and maintenance; perform basic IV therapy and monitor responses; collect specimens; provide wound care and dressing changes; assist in managing chronic conditions; monitor vital signs; assist with diagnostic tests; perform rounds; collaborate with healthcare team; perform other duties as needed.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures; ability to administer medications safely; experience with tube feeding and catheterization; proficiency in electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Valid and active state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse; BLS/CPR certification; healthcare experience, preferably in long-term care; experience with elderly patients; familiarity with nursing standards and regulations; ability to lift and move patients; strong communication skills; physical stamina; compassionate disposition.
