Description

Responsible for curriculum development and delivery of both theoretical and hands‑on instruction, including supervision of clinical rotations, classroom management, and completion of administrative tasks such as reporting, syllabus creation, and lesson plan development. Oversee student progress, ensuring alignment with course/program learning outcomes. Prepare and maintain up-to-date course syllabi for all courses taught. Willingness to work within a flexible teaching schedule and at varied sites including distance learning format if needed. Ensure that courses are taught in accordance with the established syllabus. Ensure all courses adhere to the established syllabus and recommend necessary instructional materials and laboratory/facilities equipment for course effectiveness.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
  • Associate's degree required.
  • Must possess a current RN license, Registered EMT or Paramedic license, or be an experienced EKG technician with 3‑5 years of direct EKG experience.
  • Must have an active BLS certification.
  • Previous instructional experience required.
  • Applicant must submit current resume and proof of certification/licensure.
Preferred Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • 5+ years working as an RN, Registered EMT, or Paramedic, or an experienced EKG technician with direct EKG performance experience.
  • Two or more years of instructional experience preferred.
  • Certification/Licensure required.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the D2L learning management system.
