Job summary

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking Line Cooks to join a growing kitchen team in Kaimuki, HI. This full-time role offers a fixed pay of $20/hour with a dinner shift from 3:00pm to 10:30pm.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of line cook experience and will sauté, roast, grill, fry, steam, and blanch a variety of foods while aiding prep tasks. Must comply with Hawaii health guidelines and lift up to 40 lbs. Report to work on time in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Sauté, roast, grill, fry, steam, and blanch various foods.
• Assist with food prep, including cutting, chopping, mixing, and sauce preparation.
• Maintain prep sheets, labeling, dating, and proper food storage.
• Assist with prep and utility duties while working on a team.
• Manage tasks efficiently during service and maintain an organized workstation.
• Efficiently work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Follow directions and communicate well with the kitchen team.
