Job description

Responsibilities

Design, maintain and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications

Create detailed and well-structured test scenarios and test cases

Prioritize and execute testing activities within each iterations

Work closely with others in the team and update the status regularly in an informative manner

Participate in scrum ceremonies and maintain artifacts. Work collaboratively across multiple teams.

Create automated test scripts in CI/CD environment for UI, API and integration endpoints, working with AWS services and Device APIs

Create automated Performance test scripts and provide analysis and reports

Continually optimize automation processes

Enhance and maintain automation test suite

Communicate all concerns and status with the manager on timely manner

Requirements

Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent work experience

5+ years of experience in automation testing of web applications on web/mobile

Manual Automation Testing skills

Experience in test case writing, execution, and reporting

Exposure to database testing

Solid knowledge of STLC

Ability to communicate effectively

A team player who can maintain relationships with other teams as well.

Contribute towards test case documentation, test execution, and test reporting.

Conduct and participate in bug review meetings (test cases, defect, and reports).

Provide suggestions to improve the quality of the product.

Expertise in any test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, WebdriverIO, Protractor, Postman, Cypress

Fair knowledge in CI/CD and non-functional testing

Experience in agile practices

Experience in working with deployment teams to resolve application issues in various environments

Automation experience using Selenium, Appium, Soap UI, Postman, Jira, cucumber, BDD frameworks

Experience in API automation testing frameworks

Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines

Very good working knowledge of Java, Java Script, BDD and Cucumber frameworks

Nice to have Performance testing Load Runner experience
