Job Title: ‘Pharmacy Technician’
Estimated Length of Assignment: 06+ Months (With possible extension)

Est. Pay Range: $20.00/hour – $23.00/Hour on W2 (USD)
Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)

• This is a fully onsite role.
• Monday through Friday, 9:30AM-6PM .
• CA state pharmacy technician licensure is required.

Duties:
As a Pharmacy Technician in a growing segment of healthcare, specialty pharmacy, you will work with specialized and complex therapies that are delivered to patients. Key responsibilities * Communication with patients, prescribers, and colleagues. Frequent phone conversations, emails, faxes. Fulfillment of prescriptions, packaging medications for shipment, processing copays, researching financial assistance. * Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist. * Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports. * Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.

Retail, specialty pharmacy experience, mail order pharmacy

Specialty Pharmacy experience is a plus.

Education:
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
CA state pharmacy technician licensure is required. The national certificate, PTCB can be left as a preferred but not required certificate.
