Maintenance Mechanic – 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4:30 AM – 2:00 PM (with occasional Saturdays)

Pay: Starting at $30+/hour, depending on experience and qualifications

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for our 1st shift. This role requires a strong background in the food industry. Candidates with less than 10 years of relevant experience will not be considered.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in:
• Electrical maintenance
• Troubleshooting
• PLC systems
• Welding
• Food manufacturing environment
• Proven career stability with at least 10 years of progressive responsibility in similar roles

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Perform planned and unplanned electrical and mechanical maintenance on production, packaging, and processing equipment.
• Maintain utility systems, including heat, steam, cooling, electrical, power, gas, and air systems.
• Troubleshoot issues with electro/pneumatic controls, photoelectric sensors, and PLCs.
• Diagnose and resolve problems involving high-voltage systems.
• Use schematics, blueprints, parts diagrams, and manuals to identify issues and perform repairs.
• Conduct daily inspections and routine adjustments for optimal equipment operation.
• Investigate mechanical and electrical failures, analyze root causes, and implement repairs and improvements.
• Support setup, changeover, and teardown of production equipment.

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time
• Pay: From $30.00 per hour
• Hours: No less than 40 per week
