Job summary

Cheer Home Care seeks an in-home caregiver to provide compassionate non-medical support to seniors and disabled clients in La Jolla and North County San Diego.

You will perform companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation tasks, enabling clients to stay independent at home while receiving attentive care.

Qualifications

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Dementia/Alzheimer’s/Parkinson’s care experience preferred
• Mobility transfers and physical support (up to 100–150 lbs)
• Good organizational and communication skills

Hourly Pay Rate: $20-$23

Shifts Available: 4-12 Hour Shifts, Monday-Sunday

As a Cheer Home Care Aide, you will provide compassionate non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled. Your main focus will be on providing companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services, all designed to help our clients maintain a comfortable and fulfilling life at home.

Your vibrant personality and exceptional skills will make a positive difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities. On a typical day, your responsibilities may include:

• Personal care with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene assistance, and light meal prep
• Transportation services to clients for medical appointments
• Dementia Care, Alzheimer's Care, Parkinson's Care, Hospice Care and more
• Hourly Care
• Light housekeeping and organization

Requirements

• Helping with activities of daily living
• Dementia Care Experience
• Ability to assist with mobility, transfers and physical support (up to 100-150lbs)
• Current enrollment in, or graduation from, a 4-year college or university
• Strong organizational & communication skills
• Certifications that are preferred but NOT required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED
• Able to drive client in their own personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement)
• Cell phone with internet access
