Cheer Home Care is actively hiring in-home caregivers in La Jolla, CA and North County San Diego. Competitive hourly pay of $23–$27 and 4–12 hour shifts, Monday through Sunday, with flexible full-time or part-time options.

The role focuses on companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation to help clients maintain a comfortable life at home. Strong communication and mobility support are essential, with mileage reimbursement for client transportation.

Qualifications

• Provides compassionate non-medical home care services to elderly and disabled.

• Transportation to medical appointments.

• Able to drive client in their own vehicle (mileage reimbursement).

As a Cheer Home Care Aide, you will provide compassionate non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled. Your main focus will be on providing companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services, all designed to help our clients maintain a comfortable and fulfilling life at home.

Your vibrant personality and exceptional skills will make a positive difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities. On a typical day, your responsibilities may include:

• Personal care with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene assistance, and light meal prep.
• Transportation services to clients for medical appointments.
• Dementia Care, Alzheimer's Care, Parkinson's Care, Hospice Care and more.
• Hourly Care
• Light housekeeping and organization.

• Helping with activities of daily living
• Dementia Care Experience
• Ability to assist with mobility, transfers and physical support (up to 100-150lbs)
• Current enrollment in, or graduation from, a 4-year college or university
• Strong organizational & communication skills
• Certifications that are preferred but NOT required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED
• Able to drive client in their own personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement)
• Cell phone with internet access
