Job summary

SageWest Health Care is seeking CT Technologists to perform high-quality CT imaging in a fast-paced hospital setting. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and relocation and sign-on incentives are highlighted.

Responsibilities include patient verification, contrast administration under radiologist supervision, EMR documentation, and strict adherence to radiation safety protocols. A strong foundation in radiologic technology and active ARRT credentials are required.

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary (Cert/Diploma/Program Grad) graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology (Required)
  • Associate’s Degree in radiologic technology (Preferred)
  • ARRT Radiography Certification and state-specific licensing where required (TX, CA, FL and KY) Upon Hire (Required)
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire (Required)
  • In Texas, MRT certificate (Texas Medical Board) required to perform radiologic procedures, including CT. Upon Hire Required
  • In California, CRT license (CDPH Radiologic Health Branch) required to perform CT procedures. Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Verifying patient identity and obtaining relevant clinical history prior to procedures
  • Preparing and administering contrast media under the direction of a radiologist
  • Operating CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting procedures within the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Practicing radiation safety measures to minimize exposure for patients and staff
  • Assisting with quality control procedures, equipment calibration, and preventive maintenance
  • Responding appropriately to emergency situations, including contrast reactions
  • Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Participating in continuing education and maintaining professional certifications

Education

What You'll Do

As a CT Technologist, you'll play a critical role in helping physicians diagnose and treat patients by providing high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing CT imaging procedures according to established protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort

Qualifications
Education
  • Postsecondary (Cert/Diploma/Program Grad) graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology (Required) And

Licenses/Certifications

Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, including CT procedures (Preferred) And
  • Prior Experience in a hospital or acute care setting (Preferred)
