SageWest Health Care in Fremont County, Wyoming, with hospitals in Riverton and Lander, seeks CT Technologists to join a team that values stability, growth, and exceptional patient care. You will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced hospital setting and collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nurses to support accurate diagnoses.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography Certification and state-specific licensing where required (TX, CA, FL and KY) Upon Hire
• 1-3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality diagnostic CT imaging in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Verify patient identity and obtain relevant clinical history
• Administer contrast media under radiologist direction
• Operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images
• Maintain EMR documentation of procedures
• Follow radiation safety practices to minimize exposure
• Support quality control, calibration, and preventive maintenance
• Respond to emergencies, including contrast reactions
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure quality care
• Pursue continuing education and maintain professional certifications

What You'll Do

• As a CT Technologist, you'll play a critical role in helping physicians diagnose and treat patients by providing high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Performing CT imaging procedures according to established protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Verifying patient identity and obtaining relevant clinical history prior to procedures
• Preparing and administering contrast media under the direction of a radiologist
• Operating CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting procedures within the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Practicing radiation safety measures to minimize exposure for patients and staff
• Assisting with quality control procedures, equipment calibration, and preventive maintenance
• Responding appropriately to emergency situations, including contrast reactions
• Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
• Participating in continuing education and maintaining professional certifications

Education

EducationPostsecondary (Cert/Diploma/Program Grad) graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology (Required) AndAssociate’s Degree in radiologic technology (Preferred)

Licenses/Certifications

ARRT Radiography Certification and state-specific licensing where required (TX, CA, FL and KY) Upon Hire (Required) And(RT)(CT) ARRT - Computed Tomography (CT) within 1 Year (Preferred) AndBCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire (Required)In Texas, MRT certificate (Texas Medical Board) is required to perform radiologic procedures, including CT. Upon Hire RequiredIn California, CRT license (CDPH Radiologic Health Branch) is required to perform CT procedures. Upon Hire Required

Experience

1-3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, including CT procedures (Preferred) AndPrior Experience in a hospital or acute care setting (Preferred)
