Job summary

Right at Home Greater Jax is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors and adults who need assistance to live safely at home. Our caregivers offer daily living support, companionship, and emotional encouragement.

This role features flexible full-time and part-time schedules, training, and a supportive office team focused on safety and quality of life for clients. Candidates must pass background checks, have CPR, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Background screening required (Level 2).
• Valid government-issued photo ID and Social Security card or Passport as a second form of identification.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.
• Previous caregiving, HHA, or CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and meal prep.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and outings.
• Follow care plans and document services.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Communicate changes in client condition to the office promptly.

Job Summary

Right at Home is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers to provide quality in-home care to seniors and adults who need assistance to live safely and comfortably at home. Our caregivers make a meaningful difference by supporting daily living activities while offering companionship and emotional support.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:

  • Bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene

  • Toileting and incontinence care

  • Assistance with walking and transfers

  • Meal preparation and light housekeeping

• Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities

• Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and outings

• Follow care plans and document services provided

• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment

• Communicate changes in client condition to the office promptly

Caregiver Requirements

• Level 2 Background Screening (Required)
