Job summary

Maya Home Care in New Jersey seeks dedicated HHA caregivers to join our boutique PCA/Companion team. You will provide compassionate in-home support, assist with daily living activities, and monitor client wellbeing while adhering to individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Must have HHA certification in New Jersey.
• Previous home care experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, reliable and dedicated to excellent care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meals).
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Monitor and report health status changes to care coordinator.
• Follow care plans with compassion and respect.
• Ensure client comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
