Job summary

Maya Home Care in New Jersey is seeking dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our boutique PCA/Companion agency. You will assist clients with daily living activities, provide companionship, follow individualized care plans, and maintain a safe, comfortable home environment for clients in their own homes.

Qualifications

• HHA certification in New Jersey is required.
• Previous experience in home care or related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, reliable and dedicated to providing excellent care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep).
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Monitor and report changes in health status to care coordinator.
• Follow individualized care plans with compassion and respect.
• Ensure client comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided.
