Position Overview

Provide routine nursing care in accordance with established policies, under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license.
• At least 6 months of CNA experience or clinical experience during certification training.
• Sincere desire to serve the ill, aged, and infirm.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Willing to work harmoniously with team members.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
• Good health and emotional stability.
• Ability to work with residents of various maturity levels and emotional states.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties according to facility policies, procedures, and safety rules.
• Conduct resident rounds at the start of each shift and every two hours.
• Verify resident identity before providing care or serving food.
• Report missing ID bands immediately.
• Make beds and clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled, and within residents' reach.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
