Job summary

Golden Years Home Care in Encinitas, California is looking for caring, HCA-certified caregivers to support seniors in their homes. You will help ensure safety, health, and well-being, tailor activities to client interests, and provide personal care and companionship.

A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred, along with an active TB/X-ray clearance and fingerprinting. We offer a $100 sign-on bonus after 30 days and 40 hours worked, competitive pay ranging from $18 to $20

Qualifications

• Empathy and compassionate caregiving in a home setting.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation required.
• Fully vaccinated or eligible for exemption.
• Fingerprint clearance (Live Scan) required or obtained through the program.

Responsibilities

• Personal care, light housework, meal prep.

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18+
• 1 year of caregiving experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Fully vaccinated or exemption
• Current TB test or clear X-ray
• Fingerprint clearance (Live Scan)
• CA Home Care Aide (HCA) certification (can be obtained through us)
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles if needed

Responsibilities:

• Personal care, light housework, meal prep

• Incontinence and dementia care, transfers, ADLs
