Job summary

Golden Years In-Home Senior Care is hiring caregivers to support seniors in their own homes with compassionate, personalized care. The role offers flexible scheduling including full-time, part-time, on-call, and weekend shifts to fit your life while making a meaningful difference.

Caregivers provide ADL support, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation assistance as needed, while ensuring safety and dignity for clients, including those with dementia.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older and hold CA HCA registration or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Offer companionship and meaningful engagement for seniors.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Help with shopping, errands, and appointments as needed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and incontinence care.
• Support clients living with dementia and follow individualized care needs.
• Promote clients’ safety, comfort, and independence at home.

Qualifications

We’re looking for caregivers who are compassionate, reliable, patient, and committed to providing quality care.

Requirements include:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Current California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration, or willingness to obtain it with our guidance

• Current TB test or clear chest X-ray

• Fingerprint clearance through Live Scan

• Required vaccination status or an applicable exemption, in accordance with company policy

• Willingness to travel up to 25 miles for client assignments, as needed
