The role focuses on Individual Income Tax, Business Tax, and Real Property Tax domains, with responsibilities including requirements tracing, RTM development, test planning, and interface documentation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Business Analysis.
• 6+ years of experience with financial or accounting applications.
• 6+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, Project, and Visio.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing requirements.
• Experience with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical/implementation teams.
• Experience supporting system implementations, testing, process improvement, and requirements traceability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain understanding of business processes, policies, and requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
• Analyze and resolve system issues to support accurate transactions.
• Monitor technology trends and advise on upgrades or replacements.
• Gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements for applications.
• Participate in software evaluations and provide BA input during selection.

BizTech Fusion is seeking for an experienced Business Analyst to support business applications and processes within a financial and government environment. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to understand business needs, improve processes, support system implementations, and ensure that business applications effectively meet organizational requirements.

The role will primarily support business areas related to Individual Income Tax, Business Tax, and Real Property Tax.

NOTE

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of key business processes, policies, and operational requirements.




• Work with business units to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.




• Assist in analyzing and resolving system issues to support timely and accurate business transactions.




• Monitor software and technology trends and provide recommendations regarding system upgrades, enhancements, or replacements.




• Gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements for new and existing applications.




• Participate in software evaluations and provide business analysis expertise during system selection.




• Support system implementation teams with activities such as:




• Fit/gap analysis




• System configuration




• Requirements documentation




• Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) development




• Test case development




• User acceptance and system testing




• Collaborate with stakeholders, business subject matter experts, technical teams, and implementation teams to validate that systems meet business requirements.




• Develop and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs) defining interfaces into and out of systems, as required.




• Document re-engineered and modified business processes resulting from system implementations.




• Document IT roles and responsibilities associated with maintaining systems after implementation.




• Provide input into project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.




• Assist with the development of project proposals, business cases, and related financial planning.




• Perform cost-benefit analysis to support project and technology decisions.




• Attend required training sessions and perform routine administrative responsibilities associated with the position.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Business Analysis.


• 6+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst with financial or accounting applications.


• 6+ years of practical experience with Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio.


• 6+ years of experience demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Strong experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and system requirements.


• Experience working with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical/implementation teams.


• Experience supporting system implementations, testing, process improvement, and requirements traceability.
