Job summary

Sharecare is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support Release of Information Specialists in fulfilling medical records requests. You will ensure HIPAA compliance, perform data entry and quality control, and coordinate with Customer Service to resolve issues swiftly.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong communication, and independence with minimal supervision. This is a full-time position based in Columbia, SC.

Qualifications

• 6 months minimum experience with Sharecare HDS in QC, Credit & Collections or Customer Service
• Ability to use internal electronic record workflow systems such as BactesInMotion, Record Management, Intranet, Exceptions Management, Word, Excel, Outlook
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
• High level of reliability, productivity and professionalism
• Good communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to work independently with little supervision

Responsibilities

• Assist Release of Information Specialists to resolve issues related to fulfillment of medical records requests
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA rules and other laws for Release of Information
• Perform Data Entry & Quality Control for medical records requests
• Communicate with Customer Service and other departments to answer questions and resolve issues
• Research and resolve workflow and record issues to minimize delays in turnaround
• Identify and escalate critical issues to management
