Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/health administration or related field.
• 3-5 years of compliance/privacy experience.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare privacy laws.
• Experience coordinating with federal and state regulatory agencies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify risks and escalate concerns.
• Excellent organizational and project-management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the corporate compliance program, ensuring adherence to laws and policies.
• Serve as the HIPAA Privacy Officer, overseeing privacy practices and related policies.
• Lead annual risk assessments, develop auditing plans, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Oversee investigation of privacy complaints and potential breaches.
• Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and training, including HIPAA training.
• Monitor regulatory changes and partner with leaders to implement changes.
• Coordinate regulatory filings, inspections, audits, and communications with authorities.
• Collaborate with Information Security to ensure privacy and security safeguards.
