Job summary

Medical Mutual is seeking a compliance professional to support its privacy program in a hybrid Brooklyn, OH environment. The role focuses on HIPAA Privacy and Breach Notification rules, investigations, risk assessments, and regulatory readiness.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure adherence to policies, assist with remediation plans, and prepare reporting for state and federal agencies. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• JD or Master's in business or health administration preferred.
• 5+ years experience in compliance or related field.
• Compliance certification (CCEP or CHC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and resolves privacy/compliance concerns and documents findings.
• Serves as expert on HIPAA Privacy & Breach Notification rules and regulatory matters.
• Assists in risk assessments and external audit responses as needed.
• Supports development and communication of compliance policies and education.
• Leads data collection improvements and reporting enhancements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
