Job summary

University Health in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced Integrity Manager to support our ethics, privacy, and compliance programs. You will assist the Chief Compliance/HIPAA Officer with auditing systems, data extraction, analysis, and reporting to ensure adherence to the organization’s Compliance Program.

The role requires initiative, independent daily management within the Compliance and Privacy team, and a strong knowledge of healthcare privacy laws.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; minimum three years in Compliance/HIPAA functions.
Strong knowledge of healthcare privacy laws and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in data analytics tools used in compliance and auditing.

Responsibilities

Support auditing and monitoring systems to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Identify trends and recommend targeted training based on audit results.
Manage data extraction, analysis, and reporting for privacy initiatives.
Utilize data analytics to optimize auditing and monitoring activities.
Provide education and resources to staff on HIPAA and integrity standards.
Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance compliance systems and processes.
Maintain confidentiality and stay current on regulatory requirements related to patient privacy.
Perform additional assignments to support department goals.
