Responsibilities

• Date stamp requests and highlight pertinent data to facilitate processing.
• Validate requests and authorizations for release of medical information.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and correct invoicing.
• Maintain equipment in good operating condition.
• Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns.
• Handle incoming requests by mail, phone, or fax as needed.
• Maintain a neat, clean work area and proper records storage.
• Stay updated on state laws and applicable fee structures.
• Work within policy, HIPAA, and labor regulations.
